Welcome to Haven

Haven is an urban sanctuary where the experience begins the moment you walk through the door. More than just a studio, our space comforts you - before, during, and after each class. Our infrared-heated classes - ranging from 26 to 36°C - are designed to challenge and energize both body and mind, while engaging all your senses. With panoramic views of water and greenery, the space offers a grounded contrast to the pace of city life. A safe haven, a place to carve out a moment for yourself.

The interior is a blend of modern and mid-century design, thoughtfully curated with references to art and contemporary culture. Every piece was chosen with care to create a space that feels intentional, warm, and inviting. Expect good music, a tea bar to unwind after class, and outdoor spots to catch your breath. Haven is built to bring people together. We prioritize quality, community, and alignment so you can work on feeling your best.
 

Infrared

An infrared radiant heating system heats our workout sessions, warming your body from within, similar to the warmth you feel from the sun. Unlike traditional heating, infrared light doesn’t heat the air in the studio, it directly raises your core body temperature. It is safe, natural, and non-invasive. As the warmth seeps into the deep layers of your skin, it creates the ideal environment for detoxification and healing.

We cultivate strength through intentional movement. Each class is designed to challenge and restore, focusing on full-body exercises that align your body with mindful precision. Some classes build core strength and focus on physical endurance, while others sharpen your mind and deepen your focus.

Slow flow
Think of it as meditation in motion, a practice that brings you back to your body, your breath, and the present moment. This breath-led, mindful movement class invites you to slow down and tune in. Moving at a steady, intentional pace, it’s ideal for beginners looking to build strength and confidence in foundational poses. More advanced practitioners can take on deeper variations to add extra challenge and precision.

Flow
Flow is an energizing vinyasa yoga class that connects breath to movement, exploring various techniques designed to stretch, strengthen, and awaken your body. The warmth helps you go deeper into each pose while the flow of breath keeps you centered. Prepare to challenge your body, sharpen your mind, and leave feeling balanced and energized. Heated class, all levels welcome.

Power Flow
Power Flow is a dynamic vinyasa class that lets you focus on building strength, flexibility, and endurance. This high-intensity class features dynamic sequences designed to push your limits. The heat helps you deepen each pose, building strength and stability in your core while improving flexibility. Heated class, all levels welcome.

Core Flow
Prepare to push your limits, this high-energy vinyasa class focuses on core strength and control. Expect dynamic, breath-led sequences designed to activate deep abdominal muscles, building strength, stability, and endurance. A class that challenges your center and leaves you feeling strong and anchored. Heated class, all levels welcome.

Rest & Restore
Slow down and release tension in a warm, candlelit environment. This class is rooted in the practice of Yin. The calming effects of heat and soft light allow you to stretch deeper with longer-held poses, targeting your connective tissues. Relax your body and mind, and allow yourself to unwind and restore fully. Heated class, all levels welcome.

Rise & Restore

Start your day slow and steady with this warm morning practice designed to calm the nervous system and relax the mind. Drawing from somatic movement and yin, this class focuses on full-body awareness and deep stretches, connecting you with how you feel in this moment. The gentle heat supports mobility and presence, setting you up to begin your day feeling spacious, grounded, and centered. Heated class, all levels welcome.

Our Pilates Classes

Pilates
With a contemporary approach to Pilates, this class focuses on alignment, breath, and controlled movements. It’s a challenging, low-impact session designed to build core strength and improve posture. You’ll flow through sequences that leave you feeling stronger, more aligned, and connected to your body. Heated class, all levels welcome.. 

Sculpt
Sculpt is an energizing, full-body workout that combines interval training with muscle-building strength exercises. Targeting every muscle group, this high-intensity class includes lots of upper body work, core activation, and weighted exercises. You’ll leave this class feeling grounded, sculpted, and confident in your body’s power. Heated class, all levels welcome.

Deep form
A slow burn for deep release. You’ll move through a mix of active and passive pilates techniques, from flowing movement to resistance-based stretching, designed to build strength, balance and flexibility. Precision meets restoration, leaving you more open, aligned, and deeply reset. Heated class, all levels welcome.

It’s my first time! How should I prepare for class?

We recommend arriving 15 minutes early so you have time to check in, get settled, and get a feel for the space. We’re happy to give you a full tour of the studio. We provide mats and all necessary props. Bring clothes you’re comfortable moving and sweating in, a water bottle, and a towel (or rent one at the studio). Lockers are available for your belongings.

Are all classes open to all levels?

Yes. All classes are open level and designed to be adaptable. Whether new or experienced, you're welcome to move at your own pace.

Do I need to book a class in advance?

We recommend booking your class in advance, spots can fill up quickly. You can sign up through our website or via ClassPass. Our app is coming soon. Waitlists are available, and you're always welcome to stop by and check for last-minute openings.

Why are the classes heated? What are the benefits?

Our classes are infrared-heated, with temperatures ranging from 26 to 36°C, depending on the class. The warmth helps you move deeper into poses, builds endurance, boosts circulation, and supports flexibility. It raises your heart rate in a steady, safe way, making the practice both challenging and energizing. And yes, it feels really, really good.

What if I need to leave mid-class?

We encourage you to stay on your mat for the full class, it gives your body the chance to adjust to the heat and stay connected to the flow. That said, if you do need to step out, please do so quietly and mindfully. For the sake of the group and the rhythm of the class, we ask that you don’t re-enter once you’ve left the room.

Can I store my belongings safely?

Yes, lockers are available to keep your things safe while you’re on the mat.

Where can I park?

You can park directly on the Nieuwendammerkade. There is limited parking on a first come, first served basis.

Can I pause my membership?

Yes, you can freeze your membership up to twice a year for a total of 60 days. Each freeze must be a minimum of 14 days, and we ask that you give us at least 6 days’ notice so your account isn’t automatically charged. To request a freeze, just email us at contact@havenyoga.nl.

Does my class package expire?

Memberships do not expire as long as they’re active. Each pack has its timeline: • 3 Class Intro Pack: valid for 15 days • 10 Class Pack: valid for 3 months • Single Class: valid for 1 month

If I arrive late, can I still enter class?

We start on time to respect the flow of the class and everyone in it. Once the door is closed, late entry isn’t possible, but we’ll do our best to get you into the next available class.

What is your refund policy?

All class credits, packages, and memberships are non-refundable. We appreciate your understanding.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you have a membership, 10 Class Pack, or Intro Pack, you can cancel up to 2 hours before class without penalty. ClassPass users must cancel at least 12 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a loss of class credit.

Do you have bathrooms & showers?

Yes. We have three all-gender bathrooms and one all-gender shower available for use.

Do you accept cash?

We’re a cashless studio.
